Police are on the hunt for two gun- and knife-wielding suspects who committed a house robbery at a complex in Ruimsig and escaped with the resident’s valuables on 15 July.

Spokesperson for the Honeydew Police Station, Captain Balan Muthan, confirmed that police were investigating a case of house robbery at the Willow Complex, where two armed suspects got away with a laptop, television speakers and two cellphones.

Muthan said the suspects are still at large.

This incident follows another house robbery this week which left two children, aged six and 16, devastated after witnessing their parents being fatally wounded by two armed persons in Cosmo City on 11 July.

Muthan indicated that the suspects shot the couple and fled the scene with a plasma television.

Police are also on the lookout for another two suspects who made off with an undisclosed amount of money at the Caltex Garage on the corner of Peter Road and Beyers Naudé Drive near Zandspruit during the weekend.

Both matters are still under investigation.
