A jump for joy after last paper of final exam

It was officially pens down for most matriculants of Allen Glen High School who sat down for their last paper in their final examination on 27 November.

The learners wrote English paper 3. They bowed out in a remarkable fashion as most Allen Glen High School learners wrote the exams in their civvies because they had donated their uniforms to the less unfortunate.

Although the frustrating period of waiting for the results and getting accepted into various institutions of higher learning, the matrics enjoyed the moment of finishing their exams.

Most have already considered their future endeavours. Speaking to the Northsider, Lucian Bull, who hopes to study Business Management and Entrepreneurial Science, said he was excited to finish his exams and was already working on a routine for next year. Lufuno Mukwevho said she plans to study English and Media at Wits and specialise in journalism and editing.

Head girl Courtney Foster told the Northsider that she plans to further her education in Sports Communication. She added that sport has always been her thing and that she always achieved top accolades for the various sporting disciplines she participates in. “I’ve always been into sports. I was a top sports achiever of the year and I received 17 certificates for sports,” she explained.

Courtney plays netball and soccer, and participates in athletics and swimming.
