According to BCI, they received a call from their industry colleagues asking for assistance from their K-9 unit to search for the weapons discarded by the armed robbery suspects that CSS had caught in Randpark Ridge.

“When we arrived, the scene had already been contained and the suspects arrested by the Police. K-9 officers from BCI and the Police started searching the properties and verges with their dogs for the weapons that the suspects allegedly threw into the bushes,” said Gary Jordaan, spokesperson for BCI.

Unfortunately, according to Gary, no weapons were found.“It is possible that these suspects are also linked to an armed robbery at a property in Constantia Kloof,” he speculated. The suspects were taken to a local police station for investigations to continue.
